My group and I were asked to create a product utilizing the Federal Mogul patent, US08445874. This patent is a mono-filament braided tube that is able to collapse onto itself. We used this characteristic to prolong the life of in-ear headphone wires by protecting from wearing down and breaking.

Our team won the Federal - Mogul Powertrain Industry Challenge and was invited to exhibit our project at the 2016 Verizon Philadelphia University Celebration of Innovation Gala.
